Smith6612 : I had problems with the Verizon software failing to run on my older computers back when I got DSL. I simply never used it, as there was no need to as the only problems I'd call in for would be if my internet was down for more than a day. Besides, it's unneeded just as long as you know how to set your connection up again if you ever reset your router/modem.

geilerts : 2 months since install. My Verizon Center Quick Support tool bombs with a C++ problem just before checking my speed. Does this in both IE and Firefox, in WinXP environ. No other PC problems I've seen on anything else. Not my Zone Labs catching it. Is this my system, or their tool? What might I do about it?
