It is not a question of blocking a contact, it is a request to exchange contact information. You can not block it. There is nothing in privacy or security in Skype which will allow you to block it. Being invisible will not protect you forever, the Skype sex-spammers are continuously trolling for Skype user names. If they haven't found you yet, they will, and most likely sooner rather than later. Just hope that it is you who is sitting in front of the computer when whatever sex-picture pops up, and not your spouse, or your children.

Unfortunately, what the Skype Journal isn't telling you is that you can't "block" those unwanted contact requests. You can block chats, and audio, and video, but there is nothing you can to do block the first contact request, or even to stop it from popping up on your screen, complete with whatever picture the sender chooses to include. Since the spammers are continuously creating new Skype accounts to send from, you are subject to a never-ending stream of contact requests - and Skype refuses to even make the minimal changes to let you prevent them from automatically opening in front of whoever happens to be on the computer at the time.
