I couldnt find anything on the homepage to upgrade your service and I currently have the bronze plan I was going to upgrade to the gold but i dont know if I would have to pay the 59.99 right away or the differnece between the 29.99 and the 59.99. I just got the service last week.

Just call them and ask. Skyway has nice customer service. Since you're only a week into it, they might just do the difference thing.

Why did they give you that email address? Can't you just tell the customer rep. on the phone that you would like to change your plan to the Gold plan and you wanted to know if you only had to pay the difference? I find it strange that they would give you an email address instead of just answering the question on the phone. Did you ever get an answer?

I to was given PArnold as a contact to upgrade by a support person. I think that was an online contact who told me that. She also said she would talk to her supervisor/manager about resetting my account which had slowed way down because I didn't understand the fair use policy (like many people from the way it sounds). I contacted Parnold and received no reply. But the contact/support person did email me back and say her boss said that they (the company) was not doing upgrades at this time.

This was at the end of Feb. beginning of march. I think it was March because I was gone on vacation for 10 days, and hadn't used skyway much in the few days prior to vacation 'except' between Midnight and 6 am. Logging onto the service at about 12 15 and logging off before 6. Since I had been told it would reset in 2 weeks it should have been faster when I finally logged back on, but it wasn't. That required another phone call to find out why, and that tech had to dig around to see why it didn't since I showed no use for those 10 days. He did reset it, but now it's slowed way down again and for now I will only use it between the hrs of 12am and 6, sat. sun and monday mornings. In hopes that it will reset itself again.

There is no way to check usage as there is NO access to my account, just a number to call. Which sucks. Not being a techy I don't know if there's a way to track my usage with something already on my computer so for now I'm recording the time I plug the modem back in and unplug it to keep track of downloading times.

Yes I do use the bronze plan. I'm not sure it would be worth my while to go with the silver since I like to download audio books and they can be quite large, not to mention pictures and mp3's. Using my netzero for daily browsing and the skyway for downloading may be the way I have to do this, until hopefully some wireless phone company gets a tower close enough for me to get wireless internet access.
