Re: Anti-Spyware Poll 2008

SUPERAntiSpyware free is the only botkliller i have installed as i use it during recovery from infections in my persuit of new malwares

It is also the first botkiller out of my toolkit when cleaning up clients hosed pc's

Disclaimer-Any malware i find that SAS cannot remove,is bundled off to SAS HQ and extradited into their target database...This will continue as long as Nick S gives a free fully working detection/cleaning engine and dose not bundle/offer any toolbars like some others!

Hmmm...I would like to know what kind of SW does that program remove because of all the Windows-related infections I got in my box it found none.

They were:

1. Various trojans
2. Ad-clickers

I had to use Housecall to remove them.

I'm currently tracking AVP(driveby),Z-lob(codec/driveby),DNS(codec/driveby),Storm,TIBS,Vundo(assorted types c/o keygens/drivebys) to name a few.

FWIW i will concede no one software gets them all,all of the time and the infections i track are really the tip of the iceberg although they keep me busy in new malwares and are amongst the most common seen in help forums

Still if you have new sources i'm always game to go a hunting
