Best I can get off it is 5000/500 plus overhead ADSL.
Ah, your breaking my heart, poor you...
Oh well, you do have the "Banana Slugs" after all, it's raining and they should be out.

If only the Verizon CSRs worked this well.

It's turning into urban sprawl, the County has jurisdiction over several city's.
If you go 2 miles east from Home Depot/Best Buy, you get dial-up.

ATT/Pacbell along with the city/county and the university UCSC put fiber along most the main streets in the late 80's. My street has fiber. Best I can get off it is 5000/500 plus overhead ADSL.

All small towns should be bulldozed.

By the time I'm able to retire, I hope to be able to move away from city's and still be able to get a good connection.
City's are getting too crowded.

Santa Cruz is a Big City ?..

Sure wish the Lompoc, Ca. Muni had worked out better.

The public bonds seem to work, people can invest in their own and their family's future.
If a city expects to grow, which most will because of population expansion, they need to have infrastructure developed to support that.
