 [HELP] Cisco 3560 Errors

I have two sites connected through metro-e, however one of the 3560 is showing the following errors. Can someone please tell me what is going, currently I cannot get into this switch as it managed by another vendor, however, I'm trying to get as much information as possible as to why this is accuring.

Currently, gi0/25 is recieving the fiber connection and shows a link light for a short period of time but goes out after 2 seconds.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

- Thanks.

It looks like you have bpduguard enabled on the ports and it is seeing bpdu's on that port so it is shutting that off . This is generally only applicable on interfaces with portfast turned on so I would check to make sure portfast is not turned on for that link , if it is and its a connecting link to another networking device turn it off . It looks like it has err-disable recovery turned on also so every once in awhile it will try to reenable g0/25 but when it does it see bpdus fromn the other end so it shuts it off again . Check G0/25 and make sure portfast is not turned on . You also have native vlan mismatches but I can't tell what port that is by the display.

Thanks vipergg22, disabling portfast and bpduguard on the G0 ports worked. Thing is the other switch does not have neither enabled.. Could it be the metro-e carriers have a switch somewhere in between which sends bpdu's out?

- Thanks

Bpdu's is what spanning tree uses , so if they are using spanning tree then they will send bpdu's which is ok . You just should not have bpduguard enabled and or portfast for that uplink.

use the show int Gi0/25 switchport command to verify the native vlan configured on the switch.
