Can someone please tell me what is going, currently I cannot get into this switch as it managed by another vendor, however, I'm trying to get as much information as possible as to why this is accuring. Currently, gi0/25 is recieving the fiber connection and shows a link light for a short period of time but goes out after 2 seconds. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. - Thanks. vipergg22 @netacc.net	It looks like you have bpduguard enabled on the ports and it is seeing bpdu's on that port so it is shutting that off . This is generally only applicable on interfaces with portfast turned on so I would check to make sure portfast is not turned on for that link , if it is and its a connecting link to another networking device turn it off . It looks like it has err-disable recovery turned on also so every once in awhile it will try to reenable g0/25 but when it does it see bpdus fromn the other end so it shuts it off again . Check G0/25 and make sure portfast is not turned on . You also have native vlan mismatches but I can't tell what port that is by the display.

vipergg22 @netacc.net	reply to Tyrell Bpdu's is what spanning tree uses , so if they are using spanning tree then they will send bpdu's which is ok . You just should not have bpduguard enabled and or portfast for that uplink.
