| Porting your Vo line back over to your local Telco doesn't necessarily mean you'll loose your ION network and thus be without Internet for awhile. As long as you inform the Telco that you have Sprint DSL (I'd tell them it's a dedicated Biz line) on your current loop and you want them to use a different loop, they should be able to accommodate that and leave the ION feed intact. That way, you'll have your phone ported back and should be able to order "line share" DSL and still have ION network up until they cut it off. At least it worked that way for me as a home owner. Don't know how they'd do it if you live in an Apt. or Condo with a common telco NID. Just thought you'd like to know... |
