Speed tests record their results in kbps, but downloads generally report kBps. 72kBytes per sec would be about right for a connection consistently hitting 700kpbits per sec.

I've never been able to download faster than that. Yet when I run the speed tests, they report my throughput to be within the 600 to 700 kbps range. Whats the problem?
