| Crimping Cat 6 help!
Hello all,
Thanks in advance! I caint seem to crimp my own Ethernet cables correctly. Its driving me freaking crazy! I tried following a few guides - > »www.lanshack.com/make_cat_6_cable.aspx and »www.zytrax.com/tech/layer_1/cabl···_lan.htm.
Any suggestions / links before I loose it?
Thanks - John |

Buy cables, and do your own ethernet *jack* punchdowns (the female end; much easier) if that's what you're trying to do. |

| I've seen network jacks at Home Depot, but their web site leaves a lot to be desired for finding anything. Guess that's what happens when you let a web site designer decide what goes where. Like a Punch Down Tool in Electrical Tools. -- How hard does DRM have to bite before business abandon it? |
