thinking of sighning up

hi, seeing all this bad reviews from couple of months ago
was wondering if anything changed? hop fully to the better

living in Vaughan, Jane/Rutherford, don't know yet if they offer service in my area yet, they are closed for the night

closed for the night doesn't make me feel that great about it, and with rogers probably beginning withe the "unlimited Caps" thing, Again, looking for an isp to switch 2

also i have a Motorola surfboard i bought from rogers, Will that work with 3web?

and if any one knows of an isp that works in my are please do tell

I've only been a customer for about four months total, and things have been pretty good overall.

While I don't run speedtest.net everyday, 3web cable "feels" consistent for the most part. Yes, there are random outages (which seem to occur during post-midnight hours), but it's more of a once-in-a-blue-moon thing. Any other speed / packet loss issues are mostly attributed to problems on Cogent's - their bandwidth provider's - end, which are usually resolved in a timely manner, given their size and dependency from other providers.

No throttling whatsoever.

And yes, you can use your current Motorola... just let them know, upon signup, that you already have a modem and would like to use it. They'll ask for its MAC address.

In-game pings are decent: usually around 50ms to Chicago servers.

Even if you hardware works the rest of the company doesn't.

The company is terrible. They really don't care aabout their customers nor their reputaion. When you have a dispute it will go unanswered. See for yourself for a test call their billing dispute line 1 866 841 1246 it rings off the hook.

Try calling the help line 1 877 743 8242. The company says it's not having and problems then hangs up.

The ceo is Paul Mercia call him at 1 403 777 2000 ext 262
