said by Angelo_ :rocky how much extra can you purchase (the max) On the premium side, go nuts... you can buys as many blocks as your line can handle if you want! At $10/100GB block on the premium service... it's profitable.

| reply to 81399672 said by 81399672 :Please note, in legal terms unlimited means unlimited unless you like to be sued. Most TSI customers pay their service on a monthly no-contract basis so, even if unlimited means unlimited, nothing prevents TSI from discontinuing Unlimited or changing their fees at a moment's notice should they decide to do so. The new terms would apply starting with the next billing cycle.
When most of your business operates on month-by-month terms, changing the terms of service is swift and easy: each payment is its own contract and ends with the billing period. |

| reply to R0CKY Will this additional cap buying on Premium accounts be programmed into the site?

Would be a good place to put it I presume. If so when can this be expected to be seen online. |

Could a user do $20/200GB or more? or is it maximum of 100GB more for $10?
Also, is there a way to monitor my INTERNET only bandwidth locally? without any LAN bandwidth? |

This would have to be a function of your router who may or may not have counters on how much data was sent/received on its WAN interface. Many routers do have this. But then you need to also zap it back to 0 on the same day Teksavvy xaps its counters to 0. |

For example, SNMP + RRDTool + drraw + web server, works quite nicely. |

| reply to ftp1020 Since you can have multiple PPPoE sessions on a single modem, you can technically use both accounts at the same time. To be simple, you can have a computer for downloading that is connected through unlimited. To get fancier, you can have the router automatically detect P2P traffic and route it over the unlimited link.
Of course, it's still one DSL line, so this doesn't solve any performance issues. |

| reply to TSI Jason said by TSI Jason :There's an ability to do that at the Teksavvy website under "Tools" to check each months usage One request though if you're going to charge for overage: make the usage tool more accurate/informative! When I check mine at »www.pppoe.ca/gig_check.asp it shows nothing at all for several of the past months, and for October it's showing almost 834 hours! 31 days * 24 hours is 744 hours, so presumably the rest is due to carry-over from a session that began September. It's going to need to be a little more sophisticated to show the two-month averages if that's what the billing is going to be based on. |
