They really need better pitching. After one good year, Robertson is pretty much back to a 'fair to decent' one. Roger's arm you can only ride for so long, it's pretty much at the end of a productive life. Bonderman ... I never did understand the contract he got last year. He can be brilliant at times but more times than not, he's such a slow starter that the first inning gives away too many win opportunities. Verlander is a gem. The bullpen is a shambles and Jones almost falls into the same category as Rogers. |
