Imagine if Phantom was behind this "cablebox/video game system" idea! Perhaps they have been plotting all this time just to strike a deal with Verizon at the right time! 
This is obviously not the case, but in reality what they were hoping to do is exactly what Verizon is discussing here. If only they were a few years later to market (and not complete crooks!), they might have had a viable business concept!
