I don't see how it's a silly wish as it will eliminate the dealer altogether.
I don't need some dipstick to install it for me, I just want the part, if I can't service my own vehicle they will never in their life get my business, and they can shove their half a month backorder up their arse.
Because I know I will eventually find it from someone who will have it ready at max a week and simply charges me for the part itself. I don't care if I must drive 30+ miles to reach that location, I can always arrange a sales manager to run the debit card and have him ship the part too me through 2nd day air using DHL which actually never really takes 2 days but actually a day or a few hours, depending on locations. |

| That's a rare item so not likely to be in stock.
The best you can do is to ask a Chevy dealer to run the part number on its locator system. They can see if other dealers in your area have it on the shelf, then call to verify. That way you could still get your cabin filter without waiting for a backorder to arrive. -- Your actual mileage may vary. Operators are standing by. |

| I will this Monday when the service department is open. Hopefully somewhere in the U.S they will have it in stock and have it shipped overnight.
But I need to worry about other matters than just a cabin filter, so I will hopefully get this all cleared by tomorrow. But experience tells me a week. |
