I've set it up again, although it keeps insisting that I'm in "Parsippany, NJ, USA", and won't save "Canada" as my country selection (field is blank after saving).

I'd like an invite too please.

Question: Do I have to update my IP in the setup if it changes?

During the trial period, I think it showed a long period of no connection (hours) when really my modem had reset and connected right away with a different IP.

Yes you have to either update your IP in the monitor or run a dynamic DNS client that will take care of the IP changes for you.
