Both touchless and the kind with the long strips of cloth. My antenna never got hurt. Neither did my windshield.

Before you bought your truck it was probably through several car washes.

You can pry it off to get to the screws that hold the antenna to the fender of the truck. But, don't do that- it's not made to be removed temporarily. You shouldn't have any trouble going through a car wash.
