Typically, as other users have done else ware, you measure latency/ping by opening your command prompt (Win XP) and typing "ping -t www.google.com" without quotation marks. Let it run for a bit, and press ctrl+C to stop it and get a listing of results.
My personal experience has been "good" pings are around 100ms to 115ms average.

| I'm not seeing why the speakeasy or speedtest.net choice is a better test than our speed test, or the sprint one (which is the same, just hosted on their network).
Both are flash, both work the same way.
But if you test well to the sprint server then you tested the wireless speed without the "internet" coming into the equation which I assume is the point.. |
