PM me. I work in town but from where I live I could spit to SAP's campus. FYI Center City is safe until ~ 11:00 P.M. , but Philly has earned it's rep. as a tough town. You don't want to wander off the beaten path after dark. It's not cool.
Don't know how long you are staying, (Staybridge Suites is in a really weird part of The Upper Main Line. Not representative of the area.), but there's a ton to see and do in the western 'burbs as well. You might as well consider a trip to King of Prussia to the mega mall which is a few miles North on Rte 202.
Public trans kinda sucks outside Phila. (ain't that great in the city either), so consider renting a car because that's the only way to get to the good spots.
