| cisco 827 series modem help.
hi i juss obtained a cisco 827 series router from my brothers business they recently just upgraded hardware and he gave a fwe of these away to family members. however he's in california and way too busy for me. so i was wondering if anyone can assist me on how to configure this thing... i am able to telnet into the sucker using the serial port but i am so lost once inside and its not like there is a friendly way to get pppoe client to run on it. anyways he did tell me that the modem/router was for qwest service so i think the vpi settings is like 8/32 or sumthing like that. so does anyone have any experience to help me? first thing i would like to know is how to factory default reset this thing. any help is good thanks. |

Answer may be in there some place. This does not seem to be a router for just everyday people to use. God I'm a forking PC nerd and it looks confusing to me. Even I would have to read a step by step guide. OK got it.
