They are a publicly traded company and do more than just residentially-focused VOIP service. They are not trying to be the low-priced leader. But from my experience, they were not ready to handle the influx of people from SR. I'm curious if the voice quality with their business products is better than their residential product? I was a Sunrocket customer and signed up with Packet8 over a month ago. And get this -- my SR phone number still isn't transferred over. I haven't been able to receive phone calls on that number for 2 weeks. I just canceled my packet 8 service with 2 days left in the trial period. Get out while I still could - now hopefully my new VOIP provider will be able to recoup my number from whatever limbo it is in.
