sdgeiger : In my area (Philadelphia area), Comcast Digital Voice is terrible. I know several people that cannot make calls to their friends and or families and Comcast blames it on their vendors and won't do anything to help them. So, for these people, they have to use their cellphones to call family.

Everyone in this area hates Comcast (which is their headquarters).
reelbigfish : I have to applaud Comcast for this feat. Now granted the other cable companies are getting great numbers as well, and they have a smaller population so it is hard to get these numbers, but it has been a great service. When I had Vonage with all the taxes and such it was costing me $33/month. Now I have Comcast for $33/month and when my promo is up, they are offering contracts to lock in the low rates. I have to say it has been more reliable than Vonage and it did work when we lost power for 6 hours a couple weeks ago. I also have gotten better customer service from Comcast for phone than from Vonage. Now, both customer service departments need to improve, but Comcast has been the better of the two.
