My Lord ... If you want to do something to effect change, try crusading for a cause that is REALISTIC !!! Thinking you have a snowballs chance in hell of getting something like this even started, let alone in to a legislative committee is really living and thinking outside the realm of rationality.
If you want to see your insurance rates lower, put your efforts behind the push to abolish no-fault laws. My wife works insurance down here in Monroe. A year or so ago, one of her clients moved from here down just across the state line into Toledo. A couple months after he moved, he brought Carol in a copy of his insurance policy/bill from his Toledo agent. He stayed with the same insurance company, kept the same coverages, the only thing different was his state of residence, separated by about 15 miles. His premium south of the border of this grand state is 7 dollars more than exactly half of what it is up here. |
