cracker 52 : But for us regular, residential customers, at least in the Atlanta metro area, we still don't have the Blast or the DOCSIS 2.0, certainly not widespread. Comcast stated that they take ATT U-Verse competition very seriously, but you wouldn't know it here in Atlanta metro area as they haven't stepped up their speeds to Blast or DOCSIS 2.0 or added new HD TV channels in recent months. At that pace, we probably won't get DOCSIS 3.0 until late 2009 or early 2010. Meanwhile, Comcast is now deploying DOCSIS 3.0 in the northwest, where Qwest is a much less formidable competitor and ATT's deployment of U-Verse is becoming more widespread in Atlanta and the southeast. The Atlanta/southeast region isn't doing a very good job of competing, unlike other regions.
