I went ahead and signed up with the company that made it sound like they could pick right up where SR left off, so I look forward to seeing how that goes.

I also canceled the order for phone service from my cable co.

It's not critical so I think I'll wait to see what comes of SR moving their customers to another provider. If it's a great deal, I'll go with it. If these other deals are better, I'll do those.

Maybe they aren't aware of what is actually going on behind the outage; however, I don't think any SR customers have service anymore and I'll bet most have moved on already or are in the process, such as myself.
