daboom join:2001-12-16 Oshawa, ON	Re: Friend wants to switch from ROGERS to TEKSAVVY...but... yeps he can do it just have to pay a bit more for the Teksavvy Dry Dsl package. Rogers is using their own network for his phone line it doesn't touch bells whatsoever.

I am pretty sure he can get Adsl on his Rogers line but he needs to fax a letter to Rogers and from rogers to Teksavvy. I know thats what an office had to do because there lines were with a non bell company.

daboom join:2001-12-16 Oshawa, ON ·Primus Talkbroadband	Re: Friend wants to switch from ROGERS to TEKSAVVY...but... you said he had the rogers digital phone system via their cable system? If so Rogers will not touch bell's lines going to the house. You might have to do a rewire say use the second pair of wires that aren't used to a jack near where the modem is because rogers may have hijacked the inside wiring for the rest of the phones.
