[Unlock] Locked PAP2-NA

I bought PAP2-NA at ebay cause I thought that being a PAP2-NA it should be easy to unlock to use with voipstunt. I've googled for solutions but from what I can see, you need to be able to access the configuration menu in order to unlock it. My problem is that I don't have the login nor the password.

I was able to upgrade it to version 3.1.3 and I know that the server address is 213.137.73.254 which belongs to deltathree, I've tried contacting them but so far no answer. I can't reboot using the IVR cause it asks for the password.

Please help is there any way to get the login and password?

Thanks

I had one of the Deltathree units. Although it was a PAP2-NA I could not unlock it. I used the services of DogFace05. It cost some money but I had no problems with the service he provided. After he removed both passwords: user and admin, my PAP2-NA is my to use with which ever service I desire. You could send him a PM from this forum to request when he could help you and how much he will charge to make you PAP2-NA what it should be, Your Adapter.
customata at yahoo.com is an alternative contact point.

I know nothing about deltathree, but here is some general info:

See what URL it is fetching and what data it gets. If the data is unencrypted and contains the admin password, you are in luck. If unencrypted but no password, configure a PC at 213.137.73.254 and feed it an XML file to reset the password. If encrypted, see if you can downgrade firmware to 2.0.9 or older. If that is successful, you should be able to feed it a an unencrypted XML file. If still no luck, see DogFace05, or the unlock threads in this forum.

I have to ask the silly question: Did you simply ask the seller for the passwords? Perhaps s/he forgot to factory reset it before shipping to you...

you might also ask your intended provider if by using their service your newly unlocked adapter will become locked to them!

Thanks for all the responses, I will try to answer your comments.

Stewart: I will try it this weekend, is there any special site where I can get all the information as of how to do it.

Fisamo: yes, his probably a reseller, had no idea.

RockyBB: i am going to use it with voipstunt, they don't lock the units.

cgigate: positive, unless the information on the box is wrong, it says PAP2-NA

I have had one of the exact models that nestorin refers to.
It had firmware 2.0.10c firmware. The provider was
iconnecthere with Deltathree.

I also have 2 more PAP2-NA's that have 3.0.18 firmware.
They are locked to some provider I haven't discovered yet.
I will run a sniffer later. They are PAP2-NA's. This is
on the label on the bottom of the units.

Skypeuser, how much did this guy charge you?

I paid $25.00

This to me was a good price. I did not have to package the PAP2-NA and pay for shipping or insurance both ways.
I don't know if his price is constant. I do however know that I will use his service again in the future. You should contact DogFace05 for a quoted price.
