About a year ago my "top service" dropped from 1200 down to 5000 down. When this happened the first time, it "repaired" it self.
It has been a year since it dropped to 5000 approximately. It has not fixed itself.
I THINK it may repair the problem if I ordered the 10,000 down/1500 up. Again. Have you run into this problem?
I am getting Comcast Phone service on the this Wednesday the 20th of June. They are sending a installer to get rid of Qwest and start up Comcast Phone service. Can the Phone guy do any anything to get down load back to 1200? -- Dell 8400, 3.2 GHz, P-4, PC-1056, 1.2 GHz DDR2SDRam, WinXP home, 256MB ATI X800, THX 5.1, SBlas Aud.* Logitech 4000 Cam, Dell 960 printer, , 22" Dell monitor** USMC~Vietnam 69-70~100%disabled~Quang Tri Pr. | Where are you getting your numbers and what kind of math are you using?
Drop? From 1200 to 5000?
Comcast does not have a 10,000 down/1500 up service plan.
8000/768 exists... if you are in the right area, 16000/1000 or 16000/2000 might be available...
Now, with PowerBoost, people are seeing some crazy speeds when doing speedtests... but it's just the PowerBoost.
After a few seconds - MB... the speed returns to the 6000 - 8000 service levels.
If you post in the Comcast Forum here, I'm certain some of us will try and help you locate and possibly fix the problem. -- Think outside the Fox... Opera |
