If Angel Guidance Consultant Lady lives in Naperville (and she does) she's probably yapping away on that cell phone every day while she crawls along in her 9 MPG SUV on route 59.
This one, however, seems to be suffering more from a PR deficiency which she hopes to correct with this little adventure.

Hmmm...wonder if he sells carbon paint and silver nets...
Painting the walls with an RF-absorbing paint is a start, but you have to also do the ceiling and floor. And what about those areas left covered in clothing? Does she develop a reaction there too or just to areas she's probably sunburned a hundred times.

She is doing exactly what her husband wants - drumming up clients for his consulting business. The human body is not sensitive enough to electromagnetic radiation at the levels and frequencies put out by Wi-Fi, cell phones, and microwaves to cause her symptoms. She either has allergies to something detectable or this is a huge scam. -

When a person seriously thinks that they have an illness, symptoms for that illness can manifest themselves (or seem to to that person). This woman is probably so completely convinced that she is allergic to WiFi symptoms that her body is manifesting symptoms. | |

Of course, the best way to test this would be to have the woman enter a series of rooms. Each room would be contained within its own Faraday cage (to prevent outside radiation sources from spoiling the experiment). Some rooms would have WiFi enabled (via a normal WiFi router hidden from view) and some wouldn't. Neither the woman, nor any researchers she interacted with would know which rooms had WiFi and which wouldn't. She would be tracked through these rooms and would be both physically observed, would have vital signs (Blood pressure, heart rate, etc) taken while in the rooms, and would fill out a short survey about how she felt in each of the rooms as she was in it. When she was done, the data could be compiled. If any link between WiFi rooms and her physical reactions existed, it would show up in the data. Otherwise, other things cause her reactions. | |
