Actually, tin foil is the WORST thing you can use. The foil actually focuses the radiation on the brain. Far better to use a full faraday cage (copper is best) to protect yourself.

Maybe in its flat form. But when you take the flat tin foil and form a hat with it, its new shape allows for the deflection of all EMF including mind probes from aliens and major league baseball.

Tin foil is almost impossible to find. Almost all foil is made from aluminum.

Actually i think embedding brass mesh in your walls would do the trick.

Well, yes, except for radiation emanating from directly below the hat. In other words, that guy who told you where to put your cellphone was trying to cause the cellphone radiation to be concentrated within your tinfoil hat....

Using a cellphone and living next to one of those transmission towers are entirely different circumstances. People have developed cancer from living close to power lines, even though they haven't proved that the victims developed cancer at a higher rate than from the general population. But then, it took them 50 years to even admit cigaretes cause cancer. It'll be curious how many cell phone users develop brain tumors over the next 20 years.

Tin foil should be cut in strips equal to a 1/4 wavelength relation to the center frequency you are trying to reflect.
