Ideally you'd want a program that meshes itself around the OS like a net with the bit versions of pegs holding them together. The best I can see an outside source doing is sitting between the OS and possible threats. So far that hasnt proven good enough. Ideally you would have an OS that was written right and did not need a bandage (can't say band-aid because that is a legal trademark and we might get sued).
I always find it suspect when I buy something and the seller goes "Oh, do you need to buy protection for that.". To me that means the seller has a vested interest in NOT making the best product in order to sell you the protection. -- I am not lost, I find myself every time. |
