A new game, being offered free?
Is that a link to a pirated copy being pushed via 'legit' store front? |

2 edits | In fact looking through it looks like all the games are free...and this includes a lot of new titles....
Edit: Ok, looks like they've partnered with Try Media and most of these games are adware crammed trial versions that I think lock down after a bit, and unlock if you activate them online via credit card (but probably still spew ads).
Pretty clever I guess, though misleading in a way. "Look, we can offer free stuff too! Just like Torrentspy.com!" |

 | Me thinks Bram should have just offered the software to others and sat back and collected royalties while sipping Mojitos. Whoever advised him to open a storefront under his product name should be smacked with a cold Cod.... |

 | reply to dadkins That is not really Bittorent's fault its Trymendia's who package the games for Bittorent and many other consumer sites and their content partners are the ones that put Adware in the games . |

 | reply to Karl Bode Cool a game for free.!! I'll get right on that..NOT!!!
Those who had the distinct pleasure of getting root kitted through the purchase of legit Sony BMI Cd's. One can just imagine, the trojan-ed, root kitted, virus, ad infested mess offered in a free game. Just my opinion though. Thanks, but no thanks -- Its the Democrats fault. In fact it is the Speaker of House Polosi fault. Everything is the Democrats fault. Everything. Just like Everything was the Republicans Fault when they were in power. |

 | reply to Karl Bode So i have been downloading a trial game for the last 4 days? |
|
 | I think so. But keep downloading and tell me what it does and how it works...I'm curious since that's such a big file.....(just leave your spyware protection on) |

Acronis can make it go away if I was to have ran it, but avast didn't like it so it's toast!
Not that it would have been allowed to run anyways... something would have caught it. LOL!
Wanna know something ironic? The REAL warezed games are clean compared to this! WTF?

Wow I just can't believe I was able to play games without it until now!
Karl the thing is I have invested a lot of time downloading this POS. I could have downloaded a pirated (read working) copy of the game for free. |
|
 | reply to dadkins It's still easier for users to either pirate a game, or order it from Amazon....until they either make DRM transparent (or eliminate it entirely), I just don't see these services doing anything of worth.... |

Warezed games offers a clean bill of health, removes the Cd check. Legally purchased games should come stock this way, because it offers value by protecting the Cd at the same time.
In addition to being fully functional, no activation required, hassle free version, just install then frag the chit out of anything that moves. :P

I think its also interesting how "updates" and patches are getting their own pirate channels too. As in a certain game, where you've got to DL a critical patch or update, the updates given to you clean or just embedded already. Love these tubes. |
