One suggestion is if you're bringing kids shorter than 4 ft, bring your own footstool since most of the displays are too tall for them to see (only 1 place provided milk crates to stand on). Met up with an old friend who lives in Florida. He has been at the show for the last 6 or 8 years. We'll both be be there in 2008.

I've been going to this show since the 1980's. It gets BIGGER and BETTER every year. There are operating layouts -watch model trains of ALL gauges in action-, clinics to help modelers of all skill levels, a huge flea market and more! It now occupies 3 buildings at the Big E fairgrounds. BIG is an understatement!
