Wow Sash. I never knew there were two versions of this song! Nice information there. |

...Actually, now that I checked, the "regular" part is more of the "chorus" and everything else are the "verses"
...yeah, nobody sings the other parts |

said by reelbigfish :Just FYI, the bleachers aren't long benches, they are actually seats. They just call them the bleachers, so you won't be squeezing a bunch of people in, but you can usually switch seats. Ugh. Oh well, that's ok... as long as we're in, that's more important since Q1 isn't an issue
Yeah, we regular Pacific Bell / SBC / AT&T Park attendees like to walk around the park |

1 edit | reply to DrewCapu Q1: That's not the case anymore. You can get to the rest of the park from the bleachers now. It's been since the new ownership I think. You're pretty much not going to get Green Monster tickets (unless you know someone in high places or feel like getting them from StubHub), but I've had decent luck getting the RF roof tickets a couple of hours before the game from the box office. -- Why not? |

DrewCapo; you can get to Boston from Rhode Dismal via Amtrak/commuter rail, then take the T. I used to go from Providence to Boston and see shows behind the Monstah and ballgames. Getting back might be difficult (I'd vanish to the Cape with friends via cah). RedSox.com should have all the need to know.

Q1: My understanding, in the past, is that with a bleacher ticket, you couldn't really walk through anywhere else in the park. Is that still true? What (and from where) would I miss in terms of views worth taking a picture of? Depending on how many people end up needing tickets from me, I was considering getting some low-end Green Monster/RF Roof in addition to the tix I already bought, once they become available.
Q2: I'm most likely staying at a place ~1:40 away in RI and driving/subwaying in to the park to avoid trying to park near Fenway. Where's a good place to Park & Sub? |

| reply to DrewCapu Ok, between my sister and I, we got 10 tickets for the Friday game. Unfortunately, the tickets aren't together at all. But for bleachers, I'm thinking people are ok with squeezing 2 (or maybe 10? haha) people to one assigned seat?
I figure getting in is the main thing.
So is anybody here pretty familiar with Fenway? If not, I'll ask my further questions elsewhere
I have another friend on the east coast who scored 8 tickets right at 10am est. He was really lucky and got in right away so I'm pretty sure all of his seats are together. Compare that to me: On at 7am pst and didn't get passed the first roadblock until 2pm pst.
Saturday's game supposedly sold out after a couple hours.
Sunday's game didn't have any bleacher tickets left by the time I got in. So I think we'll just do the Friday game and maybe head out to NY and/or Atlantic City afterwards.
I'm pretty excited already. I've never been to Boston before. |

| reply to Dominokat Nope I'm still hopeful though.
One of my friends landed 8 tickets for the Friday game. I might get in on that if he ends up with any extras. The Saturday game has sold out already.
I'm almost willing to go for after-market tickets, but I'll wait til I get to that bridge... |
