anon : I have been a customer of Blarg/Avvanta since 2002. My connection has been down since 11pm Dec 14th, 2006 in Seattle. I am very disappointed at the lack of communication (as suggested above -- at least a web page hosted somewhere) letting us know what is going on. I am surprised at the lack of redundancy. If customers outside of Seatle are down just because the Corporate office went down , that is bad. I too have only gotten "the line is busy" since December 15th when I first tried to call. Can some publish Broadwings number? That is further than I got with Qwest. I got Clearwire, but it won't work long term so its going back Monday or Tuesday.

Thanks.

aack : I have been a customer for 6 years, and like Karen am rather dismayed at this recent down. The connection went down on the 15th and not a word. No redirect. No temp hosting. No telephone (all circuits are busy). I understand that the weater has been history making, but that hasn't shut down their neighbors for three days. A simple redirect with notification via the web would be nice. Can't get a simple webmail. blaaaarrrrggggghhhh! I'll close by saying I am shocked, as they have been a top notch outfit up to now. In the 6 years, I've lost connection maybe a couple times for only a couple hours. I'm not looking for a new ISP yet, but this is the first time I've considered it.
