x_789 : SBC/ATT. Actually I found another post that had a link to the manual for that modem. I think I will be ok with just using the modem features. I have a spare netgear wireless router I will take along just incase.

Thanks Dr. Olds

x_789 : Hello all,
My parents just got DSL in their Neighborhood. Man am I jealous anyway. I am going to run by and install it for them this evening. Dad said it came with a Speedstream 4100 modem. I couldn't find any manuals on it on Siemens sight. I was wanting to know does anyone know if this can do dhcp or if it has a nat firewall? I don't want their box using their public IP for security reasons. Or do I need to bring along a cheap router and toss in between the modem and box.

Thanks,
Blake
