TurboDan : As has been discussed previously, this is a very lame way to cut bandwidth off of analog. If anything, Comcast should be ADDING the WeatherPlus feeds from WCAU in Ocean County as well as WTXF-DT for HD Eagles games.

The vast majority of people probably don't even know yet that this is going down tomorrow. Wait 'til Comcast hears the flood of calls coming in when WCAU (very much a beloved channel for news and especially weather) goes dark on analog. I think the backlash (in both DMAs) will be huge. This may not last for long.

I told him I already knew and then picked up the phone and called Comcast to complain. Fortunately I got a nice woman in Toms River (the last few times I've called prior to today I reached an office in Louisiana) who listened to my complaint and told me she'd pass it on to Comcast's Marketing Department. She also said they'd call me to discuss it but I'm not holding my breath. I told her to get ready for the onslaught of calls from irate customers which will no doubt begin tomorrow when folks try to tune into channel 4 and get NOTHING! Also, I asked her if this decision was made by Comcast or by NBC (as was suggested by celeritypc in the thread linked above) and she said it was 100% a Comcast decision.
