Usage of send (2nd) phone requires you to buy a second (2nd) Microsoft VoIp line or service plan. Microsoft VoIp must be used only with Microsoft DRM Certified phones.  DRM updates will be uploaded to your phone automatically. Microsoft VoIp also will call home to validate (Genuine VoIp Program) your line as to having only one (1) Microsoft DRM Certified phone per line or per service plan.
