I kept it active in the heart of downtown milwaukee for 4 months. NOT one person in that whole time connected/paid to use my net ($3/day). Anywho, they had a software update. I flashed it, bricked the router. I de-bricked it, re-flashed teh orignal firmware they sent with it, bricked it again. Flashed a older one, same. Flashed DD-WRT, worked like a charm. Their crappy firmware is what caused me to take down mine.

That's what I did. I got the Linksys in the mail, registered it, and prompltly reflashed it with DDWRT. The FON software sucks ass, the thing would drop it's connection every 5 minutes. I ordered another one with my dads business address, and sold it to some guy for $40.
