<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/1171845"><b>JSRoman</b></A> : NEWS Corp. buying DTV and DTV trying to buy Echostar are not comparable. When Echostar tried to buy DTV it would have shrunk the choices for customer from 2 satellite providers to 1. That didn't fly with Justice or FCC. NEWS Corp. came in and purchased DTV and you still had 2 satellite providers. As much as some here want to believe that all mergers will get green lighted, I can tell you DTV would not get approval to buy Echostar from FCC or Justice department.
