AT&T is thrilled to have them.<br>Why would AT&T increase performance to customers who haven't the slightest clue?<br> ]]></description>

If you can get 5 times faster for $5 or $10 a month more, go for it.  Cable is billing itself as a "deluxe" service, and overall prices itself accordingly.  The bells are working on entry level broadband converts while they build a fiber network to compete.  If you think that the telcos are forcing 768 DSL on people who would rather have 15mb, you must not be watching the ads touting "My DSL is so much faster than dial-up."]]></description>
