RJ48 uses different pair from RJ45, so if you have a four wire RJ45 patch cable it will not work. Spent hours when I first got my T1 before figuring out the cable I was trying to use was missing a pair I needed! :)]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/1128227"><b>joemaloy</b></A> : Can I use a cat5e-RJ45 for RJ48c.<br>I have searched on here, one said that they are not compatible, the other said he was using RJ45 for RJ48c.<br>I have RJ48c cable that came with T1 router but it aint long enough, and it has only 4 wires crimped. My RJ45 cable has all the wires crimed.]]></description>
