If you don't do that, that could be why it doesn't seem to "hold" from one IE session to the next.

I don't think the OP is talking about "popups", she is talking about opening a link within a webpage.

But pop up windows can't be controlled if thats what you mean.
Control panel/folder options has an option for this under view tab."Remember each folders view settings".
Function key F11 is great for smaller monitors.:)

But goto Start menu button then All programs. Right click Internet Explorer listing - select properties. Then in the middle of that tab you can select the window size.
