<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/0"><b>anon</b></A> : You need to pull your stats from the NID.  If the stats you posted were from the NID I wouldn't suggest the upgrade to Extreme.  Your line attenuation is right at the point of causing connectivity issues and the increased bandwidth would probably cause problems.  Find out why your attenuation is so high and fix it then look to upgrade.  Just my opinion.]]></description>

If you have a really clean line then you should have no problem upgrading.  If you line is marginal with Ultra the jump to Extreme may not be a wise choice.  ]]></description>

At that time I wasn't having any problem.  Just needed more speed.  My plan is to have DSL restored and then pulling the plug on COX [latency].  When I had DSL before, Xtreme wasn't offered.  I would prefer the 3Mb speed.]]></description>

When I entered the phone number, LITE and ULTRA service were the only speeds available to order.  Yesterday I checked the order status via online and found that XTREME was available for the line.  I originally planned on ordering the 3mb service but figured the line condition excluded it.  I really don't want to call BS to upgrade (if that's possible).
