MikeKolo : My point of view will most likely be a very unpopular one but I'll express it anyway at great risk. I have vehicles coming to my shop quite frequently that have problems with aftermarket alarms/anti-theft systems. The installers of these systems on late model vehicles especially really don't know sometimes what wires to hook these systems to.

This causes problems because of the nature of the electrical systems on modern vehicles. Voltage on any given circuit is critical and the way they hook these systems up interferes with the way the vehicle was designed to work. I have to remove these systems and repair the damage done most of the time. This isn't always the case and I can't offer a solution other than the stock anti-theft systems. I use a steering lock. If you want a system that makes your nieghbors hate you and that most people ignore than get one of those.

I seem to remember a news show that reported an extreme case in New York a few years ago where they placed a vehicle in a suburban setting and set the alarm off on purpose to see what would happen. The result was the vehicle sustained about 40 gunshots, that's right people shot the car and not one person came out to see what the problem was.

anwgo153 : Car alarms are a waste of time. Trust me when I tell u this! People will not stop and say, "hey that guy is stealing his car!" Alarms have irratating noises that people ignore these days.Dont waste your time with alarms! This is what you really need Autolock

Double-Nickel chrome look is a must-have for any tuner!

The Unbreakable AutoLock X simply locks up the brake or clutch Pedal, making your car or truck impossible to drive. Guaranteed! The Unbreakable AutoLock X's solid steel deadbolt lock system is virtually drill-proof, cut-proof and freon-proof, under normal circumstances and use.

BRAKE vs. STEERING WHEEL
The Unbreakable AutoLock X uses the brake pedal or clutch pedal arm because their thick solid steel construction makes them one of the strongest parts of your vehicle and virtually impossible to cut. Steering wheel locks are typically bars that attach to the steering wheel & prevent it from turning. Most steering wheels are made of thin metal & foam because they are designed to bend out of the driver's way in an accident. A car thief can easily cut the steering wheel using a bolt cutter or hacksaw, remove the steering wheel lock & steal the vehicle.
<TABLE WIDTH=95% align=center border=0 CELLPADDING=4">
