<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/215813"><b>thetechie</b></A> : I just replaced a failed laptop drive on an hp laptop.<br><br>The replacement is a NEC ND-6650a. <br><br>Supposedly, you can do bitsetting, which allows you to set the booktype to DVD-ROM, when you burn a DVD to make it more compatible with older players.<br><br>In DVDdecrypter, there is an option for nec, but when I try to change it, it doesn't work. It just says failed.<br><br>As of right now, I am not sure how I am going to get it to work.<br><br>Any help would be appreciated.<br><SMALL>--<br>You can't live for today when you've got to study for Tomorrow.</SMALL>]]></description>
