alg : Yeah you can do this with VLC except that you don't have channel control from the client (without having to use a remote control app anyway). Also there seems to be a bug that limits the combined audio/video bandwidth to just 400 kb/s. Not really a problem on WAN, but it took me forever to figure out why I could not get video files or my TV tuner stream to work over my LAN, where I didn't think that I would need codecs or compression and was just streaming it raw.

EDIT: BTW, this is for computers, I don't know about the PSP.
--
CoD: Mozart {Go Astros} | DoD:S: Mozart

vwtoys : It's almost there. I have WME 9 and broadcasts my cable feed to my LAN clients. I also have shared video with friends over the internet using WME. The only bad thing is that there's no channel changing control on the client side. And that the video server can not be started remotely with software. I have tried VLC and several others and none seemed to have worked. I hope there's better software that will do the trick, I'm not ready to be spending 300 bucks to watch TV across the world.
