You might want to keep an eye on that. FTTN, or "Fiber To The Node", at least as SBC is doing it, links clusters of residential housing to RTs, or "Remote Terminals", which are not supposed to be any farther than 5,000 on the longest run to any residence in the cluster (about 300-500 residences). Qwest seems to have some idea to deploy FTTN in their service area.
--
Norman
~A deam, dream, no dream
~Voices of the night go across the forest
~A dream, dream, no dream
~Good night my good child

hawkestar : Now the trick is to get them to believe they actually have a problem. First, they claimed it was my client. Then I sent them the link to another url that basically said what you did and told them they need to check their servers. So then they sent a response saying they understood I needed help with my email client configuration. So I sent them a scathing reply saying NO I do NOT and if they bothered to READ my MESSAGE, they would see that.

BAH I so wish I had a choice in my broadband provider.

If you have a different mail service, try using it. If MSN Hotmail or Yahoo! Web Mail work, your ISP has a DNS issue. If another server also fails, there are problems with the MX server at the destination.
--
Norman
~A deam, dream, no dream
~Voices of the night go across the forest
~A dream, dream, no dream
~Good night my good child
