superakcraig : Thanks for your replys. I will try both of those suggestions but as of right now, things seem to be working okay. Not sure if Insight was having trouble last night or what. I do know that right before I hit the sack last night, my modem went completely out. I wonder if they work on the lines and stuff at midnight!!

Router Question relating to DNS Servers

superakcraig : I installed a new router on my new computer a week and a half ago. For some reason now I am getting very sporadic service. When I open Firefox to go to my homepage (My Yahoo) sometimes it won't connect and literally after closing firefox for 5 seconds and opening back up, it goes right to the sight. When I check my speeds they are fine...3700d and 370u. Last night, I was on the phone with a friend and was telling him about it, he said to do a tracert to yahoo and it didn't work either but when I typed the Ip of Yahoo it went right there with no problems.

Does this sound like a DNS problem, an Insight problem, or a router problem? By the way, before you ask, this computer is hardwired into this router, it is not wireless.

Thanks for your ideas!!
