Re: great interview Yes, true that government regulations and beau racy slow down the deployment of broadband; but there is good reason for that also. You don't want to have ISP's oversell broadband, than the market will just collapse in on itself (i think that was the way my colleague explained it to me).
Also don't be surprised when you get all those speeds only to have a hidden 'unadvertised' monthly cap, especially SBC. Personally I cannot wait because I know my area is already upgraded, but I will wait and see how people come out. It probably will not be widespread either, like rural areas. |
