What may be happening is that your ISP could be caching files so is serving you the incorrect version of the file. What I would suggest is to manually download the file from our downloads page then extract the defs.ref file to your  Ad-Aware directory and say yes when asked if you would like to replace the file and then re-run the scan.]]></description>
